Hello,

The travel bug continues in our office with visits to venues and destinations far and wide since our February Newsletter, including visits to Sydney, Brisbane and Bali. In our June Newsletter we look forward to a report from Lisa Moloney who is currently attending a conference on Conference Centres in the USA and looking at venues in the UK on her way home.

Conference and meeting venues report a busy start to the year with many venues close to full capacity and some dates difficult to satisfy without comprising required criteria – still that’s what we are here to do and we have managed to meet our client expectations for venues. Looking ahead we have seen a high level of demand already for August 2006 so we expect the latter part of the year to be busy – best to get in early if you can.

We are in the final stages of arranging our venue familiarisation and site inspection program for 2006. It’s not too late to register your interest in joining us, all you have to do is send me an email with “famil program” as the subject.

Autumn is a great time of year to be out and about and I recently spent a weekend away camping in perfect weather – back to basics but very relaxing and a lot of fun. My boat delivery trip from Melbourne up to Sydney was smooth sailing, enjoyed by all the crew and took just a tad over 3 days.

Arrival of the office footy tipping competition signals that we are heading into winter. Hope your team does well and doesn’t disappoint you – For me its Go Hawks!

Regards,

Jim Conway
